Jun Bi

Professor, Tsinghua U, China


Mr. Jun Bi received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degree in computer science from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. His dissertation studied Internet routing protocols and high performance routers and won the best dissertation award from Tsinghua University. From 1999 to 2000, he was a postdoctoral scholar of High Speed Network Department in Bell Laboratories Research, Lucent Technologies, New Jersey, USA. From 2000 to 2003, he was a research scientist of Bell Labs Research Communication Science Division and Bell Labs Advanced Communication Technologies Center. Currently he is a full professor and director of Network Architecture & IPv6 Research Division, Network Research Center of Tsinghua University, Ph.D. supervisor of Dept. of Computer Science of Tsinghua University. His research interests include SDN(Software Defined Networking), NDN(Named Data Networking), Source Address Validation and Traceback, Internet Routing and Mobility, etc.
