Alberto Gonzalez

Alberto J. Gonzalez received the B. Sc. degree in Telecommunication Engineering, the M.Sc. (Hons.) degree in Telecommunication Engineering & Management and the M.Sc. degree in Telematics in 2006, 2007 and 2009 respectively from the Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya (UPC-BarcelonaTech), Barcelona, Spain. He joined the Department of Telematics Engineering in 2006 as research fellow. Since 2004 is collaborating with the i2CAT Foundation, Barcelona, Spain, in research and project management tasks. Participant of Euro-NF since 2008. Since 2010 he participates in the standardization group ISO/IEC JTC 1 SC 6 "Future Network" and since 2011 is editor of part 7 "service composition". His research interests include multimedia content adaptation, heterogeneous environments, peer-to-peer, video transmission, error resilience, video coding, service composition and Future Networks.
